Andrea Hornung is a devoted wife of more than 41 years, proud mother of two sons, and a strong believer in the importance of family. Her eldest son serves as a captain in the United States Marine Corps, while her younger son is recently married and building his career with OTIS Elevators.

 

Andrea and her husband also care for her parents in their home, a reflection of her deep commitment to family. Outside of family life, Andrea enjoys adventure and the outdoors—scuba diving, traveling, water sports, and zip lining are among her favorite pastimes.

Andrea’s professional career spans 26 years in local government, where she worked in the Planning Department. She holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Planning as well as dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Marine Biology. During her career, Andrea is a member of APA, American Planning Association with designation as a certified planner holding the title of AICP. ​

A proud Rotarian, Andrea has served in several leadership roles including Past President, Treasurer, and Foundation Chair. She joined Rotary to give back to her community, drawing on her years of professional experience to continue planning, serving, and making a difference in the lives of others.
