Flags for Heroes 2026 Campaign
Each flag represents a story. Whether honoring military members, first responders, healthcare workers, teachers, community leaders, or loved ones, this program provides a powerful way to recognize those who have made a lasting impact.
When you think of the word “hero,” who comes to mind? A military veteran? A firefighter or police officer? How about everyday, unsung heroes, such as a favorite teacher or a healthcare worker? How about a meaningful way to give back...or pay it forward?

Since 2016, the North Stafford Rotary Club (NSRC) has organized Flags for Heroes, placing over 200 American flags in front of the Stafford County Courthouse in a stunning display to honor heroes of all types from Memorial Day to Flag Day. The flags will be installed on May 22 and taken down after the Flags for Heroes Closing Ceremony, taking place at 4:00 on Tuesday, June 16, on the steps of the old Courthouse.

When you or your business sponsor a flag for the display, proceeds from our signature fundraiser go right back into our community, supporting Stafford County veterans’ organizations and other local charities.

​Our beneficiary for 2026 is the Stafford American Legion Post 290 Foundation, which supports local veterans and the greater community through a variety of programs
Individual Sponsor
An individual sponsorship of just $25.00 helps sustain and expand this effort, inviting community participation and helping North Stafford Rotary Club to achieve its goals of creating lasting, positive change in Stafford and beyond.
As a thank-you for sponsoring a display flag, you’ll receive a window cling (while supplies last) and a digital certificate honoring your hero.
Both individual and business sponsors are invited to attend our Flag Day ceremony on the Courthouse steps at 4:00 on Tuesday, June 16, where we’ll honor our 2026 beneficiaries.
Business Sponsor
If you would like to be a business sponsor, you can download the pdf and mail it to us with a check or fill in the online form below. There is an "Other Option" to add in an additional financial donation if you would prefer.
Business sponsors at the Platinum, Gold, and Silver levels receive these additional benefits:

$500+ Platinum Sponsor: One Hero Sponsorship of your choosing; business logo on Sponsor Banner; recognition on North Stafford Rotary Club’s website, all Club social media platforms, and any radio or press releases.

$250-$499 Gold Sponsor: One Hero Sponsorship of your choosing; business logo on Sponsor Banner; recognition on all Club social media platforms.
