Tisha Johnson, a Toledo, Ohio native, is a passionate entrepreneur, community leader, and advocate for service. She is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters and is surrounded by an incredible network of friends. Driven by ambition, she moved to the Fredericksburg, VA area in 1996, determined to turn her dreams into reality.

Her love for food was inspired by her mother and cherished family gatherings, where meals brought loved ones together for laughter and connection. In 2013, she opened her first restaurant, Buttercups Café. Seeking a larger space to grow her vision, she made the bold decision to close and, in October 2017, launched Orleans Bistro & Grill in South Point Plaza, Fredericksburg, VA.

Tisha’s entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there. In March 2024, she expanded her impact by opening Orleans After Dark Cigar Lounge, becoming the first woman to own a cigar lounge in Fredericksburg, VA. She also launched her podcast, "Up In Smoke," where she shares insights, experiences, and motivation.​

Beyond her businesses, Tisha is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She is an active member of the North Stafford Rotary Club, where she currently serves on the board as President Elect.
She also holds a board position with Stafford Junction and Unmasked, both nonprofit organizations. Her dedication to service was recognized when she was named 2017 Rotarian of the Year.

A powerhouse of energy and inspiration, Tisha is a sought-after motivational speaker and a leader who ignites passion in those around her. Whether through business, service, or mentorship, she is constantly finding ways to uplift and empower her community.

I’ve been teaching hand and line dancing for over 25 years in the DMV area.
Hand dancing is a jazzy version of swing dancing. It is the DC style of couple dancing. You don’t need a partner just bring your comfortable shoes and wear comfortable clothes.
